Dr. Geyer has been involved with Naturopaths
Without Borders (NWB)-SCNM chapter since 2008, supervising over 20 trips to
Mexico to provide medical care and health education. In 2011, NWB expanded to become a national non-profit. Dr. Geyer has served in the capacity of
Executive Director since that time.
“Providing temporary aid or healthcare is
not enough. If people don’t have
access to shelter, healthful food, clean water, education, clothes, or feel
safe, then we don’t offer a solution.
Providing care without addressing the causes, is like applying a
band-aid to wet skin. This is our
philosophy as Naturopathic Doctors and this is our model at NWB”.
