What to Expect on Your First Visit

During your first visit, an extensive history will be taken, full physical exam performed, and appropriate labs/imaging/tests may be suggested if needed.  The doctors will spend a good deal of time discussing your health picture, concerns, therapeutic options and more.

First appointments are generally 2 hours in length and you are the ONLY patient being seen by the physicians during this time.  Length of appointment is influenced by how complex your health picture is and any procedures or therapies completed during that visit (Ex. Acupuncture session).

In order to provide the best healthcare possible, the first visit must be completed in office and can not be completed over the phone.

What to Expect on Follow Up Visits

Follow up visits are usually between 30 and 60 minutes long.

You will be seen by the physician solely at each visit (not a medical assistant, physician's assistant, nurse practitioner, or other affiliate).

Insurance Coverage
In the state of Arizona and Ohio, health insurance companies are not required to cover Naturopathic Physician visits.

In Arizona, Dr. Geyer is in network with CIGNA.  Also most insurance companies cover conventional lab work and imaging ordered by an ND.

We would be happy to provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  Please feel free to ask.
